"Eve" is truly knock-your-socks-off fantastic! What a beautiful, captivating filly with that top-class look about her. Not only is she true black with chome and exceedingly gorgeous, but even at only a few days old is proving to be quite the mover as well. Lots of lift in front but the wonderful flat knee and reach we were trying for as well. Eve has a HUGE, slow canter that seems to defy gravity, with lots of "jump", cadence and extreme balance. She is of a modern type, and has a lovely head and topline, and stands very correct even at this young age. The quality is apparent.
Her dam is jumper bred to the hilt - many of the most famous, classic names and known hunter producers like Zeus (Alla C'zar), Gepard (All the Gold, Gonzo I), Argentinus (Apiro), Furioso II (Voltaire), and the list goes on. Actually, a good deal of her ancestry was known for equal talent in jumping as well as dressage! Eve is bred to be an athlete, no matter what the discipline, but combined with the rideability and elegance that Harvard has been proven to pass, with a touch of great TB blood, this filly is a pure recipe for success in the hunter ring, but has all the assets to excel in dressage as well.
Harvard offspring are highly sought after for their beauty, quality, talent, movement and temperament, and this filly displays all of these attributes and more. Her disposition is truly exceptional like all of Joy's previous babies (Eve is #6!), who have all gone to juniors or amateurs. Eve would also be an extremely valuable broodmare one day, and since fertility is heritable, it should be noted that her dam has conceived first try upon each breeding ever attempted. Joy has been one of our absolute best producers and every one of her foals has sold quickly, with several excelling quite impressively on the line to National titles, and are entering the performance ring now, so don't miss out on this superb quality filly!
