I have an Andalusian by Maluso, that has super gaits for dressage. That's why I grabbed him the moment I saw the awful video. The owner had quit riding. I saw that he could be a great dressage mover, but was doing western.
He is 16' +1/2" hands, not a small Andy, 11 about to turn 12 and has so little mileage that everyone thinks he is 6-7 yrs old, a cute/young and very kind mentality. He was ridden for pleasure by an older lady and shown by her son. Very sound with rock hard barefeet, hardy and expects nothing but hay. Is outside with his friend and they play like young colts. But he is very interested in being with me and is a cuddler, follows me everywhere and nickers. He is the happiest horse I have ever seen, and I have had 43 horses in a long career of showing to GP and training dressage in CA and now here in NM.
I was going to train him for me, and I am PICKY. He would be high scoring/fun dressage horse as he trots very uphill in front while sitting like a dog behind. Same with canter. He can show against WBs and do fine. I never had an Andy, and he is sweet and learns at WARP Speed, like nothing I have trained before!
First time on him I got him to take and hold bit and begin learning basic dressage immediately. I wanted him for FEI because it will be so easy for him. He is beta and can be in with any horses and is a no brainer to keep and deal with. This horse is ALWAYS happy and alert, & loves to learn.
So of course, I have to sell him! At first he needed weight. When ready to start working, which was March, the wind began & has not stopped insane 30-65 mph since. So I do a little work; but as fast as he learns (always the 1st time), his buyer would get a fantastic horse for dressage and also a trained western horse.
He is white grey with some freckling left to turn white here and there. Black mane & black/white tail. He is so sweet, I love him to death, and I can't keep him only because I have the start of a real health problem. If not for wind, I would have had him sold to several people here already - but none of us could ride in the walls of dirt always flying.
He is papered/registered; will stand for mounting *all day*, his former owner had a handicap and it was a long a hard struggle to mount. He is quietly sensitive to aids and always tries to get it right immediately.
I don't have video yet (except the awful one I bought him from). I just sent for him from that video because I could tell what he was, but he is 10 times what I thought. I know everyone has to see video and I will work to get it on here asap. Wind permitting. He is a bit round from eating with the 18 hand Hanoverian, but it comes off fast as I have done it with the work I began. He is not one of those Andys that is a leg-mover and that can look somewhat like a Bratwurst/or trot like a sewing machine:) He does NO WINGING, PADDLING - he is a straight mover.
I'm negotiable, cliche, but need a great home for a special horse. He could come out a great and EASY ON THE BACK dressage horse in very time, or be ridden western now, or both.
Asking $12,000. but am *very negotiable*. I know you read all the time, "neg to right home", in this case, I am open to offers. I LOVE this horse and was never going to sell. This only time I bought any horse other than a WB, and you can't not fall in love and I did. Me and my lousy luck.

(Been putting off offering him because I was in denial and wanted to keep him, but I know I can't)
Thank you for reading this BOOK.............
