Very Strong Dam line! All offspring out of this mare have premium designations in their riding horse tests and chute jumping. She consistently produces excellent temperaments with great movement and jumping scope and form. She won her riding horse test, receiving a premium score from an international Inspection panel. She also impressed the same panel in her mare evaluation, placing first in her group and 3rd in Canada overall. She is the type of horse that can be put out to pasture for six months, then you can jump on and go for a ride without lunging and she will pick up right where you left off last time! She loves to jump, and is a fantastic mover. Altough originally purchased as a project horse, we liked her rideability and talent so much, she has become our top broodmare. Mazurka's Sire was a TB Stallion exported to Japan, and produced other English Sport types. You are getting the strong dam line which goes back to Cor de la Breyere, and Landgraf I. She is the spitting image of her dam, a top producing mare for the Sellingers in Alberta and consistently produces premium offspring. Her progeny currently compete in the US in dressage and jumping (Alero) and one stands as a stallion (Reggae) in Florida. This mare has been bred to Sellinger's jumping stallion Carthago Sun I for a 2012 foal.
His sire, Banderas is the only approved son of Balou du Rouet, and successfully completed his 70 day test at Silver Creek Farm in 2010, 4th overall. Some of Banderas' scores from the 70 day test Test Director scores Character "10",Temperament "9" Willingness to work "9.50" constitution "9" ridability "8.5", Free Jumping "9", Stadium Jumping "9" cross country "8.5" "walk 9" trot "7.50" canter "8"
If you are looking for a prospect that will take you along way in the future, this is your boy! Stamped with jumping ability on both sides of his pedigree, correct conformation and movement, and rideability scores on both parents. Predictability on both parents!
This boy is sure to excel in jumping, as he is very agile, and athletic and well conformed for jumping. Already leads and ties well, picks up his feet, is easy to work around, and handle. Should finish at 16.2hh like his siblings.
