Olivia is a big, grey Dutch mare who earned her keur predicate in dressage, but is truly a multitalented horse. She was successful in the dressage ring but is also an excellent jumper. Clearing 4' 6" with ease, she was evented for ten years and her foal by Iroko now shows in the jumpers. Her very solid damline comes from Holsteiner Stamm 18a2, known for its impact on sport and breeding. Stamm 18a2 has produced, among others, the stallions Cristallo, Cobra, Linaro, Chambertin, Quidado, Acolino, and Clinton.
Olivia's sire, Anriejetto, who competed and won up through Intermediaire I, was Grand Champion of Dressage at Devon four times. Known for his rhythmic paces, especially the trot, Anriejetto's influence can easily be seen in Olivia, both in her color and in her great trot. Perhaps her best gait, however, is her canter, which is powerful, ground-covering, and uphill.
Olivia foaled a tall, beautiful filly on June 16, 2011. We've named her Georgia and you can read more about her on our sales page.
Due to suspensory injury, Olivia sells as a broodmare. Although we bred her to a dressage stallion, we believe her strong Holsteiner damline means she could also be bred to/for jumpers. In addition, her damline brings size. Olivia herself is over 16.3, with good bone, a long neck, and large hooves. She has an equally large, kind eye and has a sweet, loving, reliable temperament.
