Sagar is a stunning imported 2005 16.2h perlino Czech Warmblood, RPSI SBII stallion with 100% color guarantee (palomino, buckskin, or rare smoky black). Sagar is the first and only fully papered perlino (bay based double dilute) warmblood stallion standing in North America. This remarkable young stallion has inherited his incredible scope over fences, lovely gaits and fantastic conformation through successful competition bloodlines that includes the famous Holsteiner, Landgraf I. He is tall, correct, elegant and has outstanding movement and jumping ability. Sagar has tremendous natural scope and is exceptionally quiet and laid back. Before he was imported to the US, he successfully competed in two jumper shows at the one meter level, as a 3 year old.
Sagar was presented to RPSI in August of 09. In the last jump of the video, he is shown jumping 4'6" with ease. Although he missed his Book I scores by a hair and is SBII, he received wonderful comments from the inspection committee judges such as, "excellent canter...", "tremendous jumping potential...", "quiet, trainable temperament...", "correct conformation..." and ..."good character...". All of Sagar's offspring would be eligible for RPSI inspection and white registration papers, half brand, passport and be eligible for Bronze, Silver or Gold premium status based on their quality and performance at inspection. Sagar's offspring would also be eligible for RPSI Year End performance awards for dressage, sporthorse breeding, hunter, hunter breeding, jumper, and eventing divisions as long as the owner was a member of and the horse was registered with RPSI as well as USDF, USEF, or USEA. Sagar's offspring would also be eligible for USDF and USEF (and possibly USEA and USHJA) Year End Awards.
