Rosie is a small (12 h ) unregistered appaloosa pony mare about 12 years old. I bought her 5 years ago as a broodmare for my sportpony breeding program because of her exceptional movement but age limitations require me to reduce my pony numbers.

She has produced two foals with outstanding movement, one by a warmblood stallion and would certainly be an asset to a colored sportpony breeding program. She has had no breeding or foaling issues, sound, easy keeper, never foundered and no health issues. She is a timid mare, may have been roughly treated in the past and is slow to trust but is very well mannered on the ground and easy to manage.

I saw her ridden by an experienced teenager for about 10 minutes, bareback with a halter, in a corral, before I bought her. She's too small for me to ride, I have no child riders available so I do not feel comfortable suggesting she would be suitable for a child, since she is timid and is also very quick and reactive.

She is current on worming and basic vaccinations. Farm call for Coggins/health will probably run about $150
