Waliant is a flashy 2004 chestnut hanoverian gelding by Widmark (x Wolkentanz x Weltmeyer) out of Masquerade (Mattgold x Rosenkavalier). Waliant was chosen Best Colt, and Champion Foal 2004 at his Guelph VhW inspection/branding - from among a truly outstanding foalcrop of over 25. Quite an honour! He was selected for his consistently rhythmical, elastic movement, powerful hind end, great legs, well-set-on neck, presence and very modern type. In full professional training as a dressage horse from the age of four, Waliant also shows great talent for jumping and promises to be a super hunter jumper for the amateur or professional. He has a great natural rhythm and schwung but is very easy to sit! He is sane, sensible and a great partner. Hacks alone or in company, ships and settles immediately in any new situations.
